Are the Travel Companions DBS checked?

How do you charge for your services?

The cost of accommodation, board and travel for the companion will be paid for by the client. In addition the travel companion fee will be invoiced directly to the client once all travel arrangements have been confirmed..

Do you offer travel insurance?

We can assist in arranging Travel insurance, which will need to be purchased at the same time as the travel arrangements. Travel insurance can protect travellers against cancellation, emergency medical expenses, lost and stolen baggage.

Are you insured?

Yes we have public liability insurance.

Who is responsible for booking travel arrangements?

We are happy to research your holiday requirements and assist in booking the travel arrangements for you.

Do you stay in the same hotel room as the traveller?

It is against Travel policy to share hotel rooms or cruise cabins for the safety of both the traveller and companion. An additional room or cabin for the companion must be purchased.

The companion service was set up after my parents wanted to go on holiday but no longer felt confident in travelling alone. They didn’t want to travel with family members, wanting their own holiday in their own way. We could not find a service to cater for this and here our story began.

Having experience in the travel industry for over 30 years, we can advise and if required, organise travel arrangements for you. We will accompany you from leaving your home at the start of your trip, throughout your holiday and safely back home at the end of your trip.
